Aluminium

Aluminium is a cast element where minor differences in thickness, height and width may occur. For all aluminium parts, Bent Hansen accepts tolerances of 3 millimetres. In addition, some moving aluminium parts may emit sound during use. Aluminium is a durable material, but permanent scratches or dents can occur if the product is subjected to shocks or impact.

Texture coated aluminium

Texture coating adds a fine-grained finish to the surface. Traces of wear and tear, such as scratches, are therefore also less visible on this surface due to the structure of the paint.

Cleaning: Surfaces with textured coating should be wiped with a cloth dampened in warm water and wrung out, possibly with the addition of a mild cleaning agent. Wipe with a dry cloth to avoid limescale stains.

Special reservations: Be particularly careful not to use solvents, sharp objects or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the coating.

Polished Aluminium

Polished aluminium, as the name suggests, has a glossy and reflective finish.

Day-to-day cleaning: Aluminium surfaces should be wiped with a damp cloth wrung out in warm water, possibly with the addition of a mild cleaning agent. Wipe with a dry cloth to avoid streaks and limescale stains.

Deep cleaning: For a more thorough cleaning, you can clean aluminium with regular household cleaning spirit. Wash with a wrung-out cloth and wipe dry.

Special reservations: Be particularly careful not to use solvents, sharp objects or abrasive cleaners, as these can scratch the aluminium surface.
